Black Welsh Mountain Sheep
Status of Endangerment: Threatened

The Mountain welsh sheep is the only full black breed of sheep in the U.K. They are average sized sheep that  are used for  their thick wool and for meat. The breed has been called exotic in North America and alot of farmers keep them a secret do to low population although they are almost perfect for production. IN 2012 the population fell under 5000, which increased their value but has now put them in the threatened category of endangered species.
